With Turtle Back Zoo expansion, sea lions will once again take center stage

The exhibit will be themed around a West Coast ocean village, replete with docks, rock-enclosed beaches and an ocean-weathered building.
The idea is to “try to evoke the habitat of where the sea lions come from,” said Michael Hanrahan, of Clarke Caton Hintz, a Trenton architecture firm that designed the new exhibit.
