Roebling Mansion: NJ League of Municipalities

The Ferdinand Roebling Mansion is the last remaining home still standing in Trenton that is closely related to one of Trenton’s most famous families: the Roeblings. Clarke Caton Hintz worked with the New Jersey State League of Municipalities to renovate and expand the existing building for reuse as offices for the League, and additional office space for lease. Work was partially funded by the NJ Historic Trust.
CCH developed plans to renovate the existing building and construct an addition. The intent of the project is to provide efficient, attractive office space for the League and potential tenants, while taking advantage of the historic quality of the building. The exterior of the building has been fully restored including the stucco, brick, limestone, windows and decorative iron. The 2nd & 3rd floor interior spaces were renovated to provide modern, office space while the first floor has retained its significant architectural features.
