Liberty High School Science Laboratory

As part of our on-call architectural services contract, CCH was asked to prepare the design and construction documents for a new science lab and prep room to be housed in a vacated classroom. The new science lab was designed to be deliberately flexible. All fixed casework is at the perimeter while loose furniture can be reconfigured for both lecture/classroom and lab layouts. Flexibility was important as the lab must house three different sciences: biology, chemistry and physics. Special features also include a fume hood, prep room and a Smartboard to facilitate teaching.
