The project was funded by NJ Department of Transportation. The improvements were designed by Clarke Caton Hintz, landscape architects for the project, with Studer McEldowney, for the civil engineering. It is a – stretch of Route 57 through the center of the Borough, and is known as Main Street locally.
Almost a million dollars in scope, it encompasses new curbing, sidewalks with pavers, street trees, lighting and a mid-block pedestrian crosswalk. It is designed as one of the steps in rejuvenating the Borough and moving it towards redevelopment.
