The TBTA Central Maintenance North Facility is a two story facility of new construction which replaces the aging existing facilities located directly underneath the actual bridge structure and toll plaza of the RFK (Triborough) Bridge. The site for the new facility is located on Randall’s Island between the Manhattan and East Rivers.
The Design-Build project fully implements the TBTA Central Maintenance North (CMN) Facility, consisting of a pre-engineered long span building, together with all building systems and related operational requirements, including but not limited to, shops, work areas, muster areas, storage areas, locker rooms, and supervision offices, disconnections moving and reinstallations of shop machinery in the new building.
