Job Summary: Project Architect/ Project Manager
Clarke Caton Hintz seeks an architect who shares our passion for creative design within a variety of contexts. The Architect will collaborate on a variety of projects related to a broad range of public and private clients. Projects occur across a variety of scales and market sectors, including, but not limited to athletic facilities; civic; cultural; higher education-colleges and universities; commercial; corporate; historic preservation; interiors; education – K-12; parking facilities; and residential. Ideal candidates will have an interest in impactful design, particularly in the urban environment and in sustainability.

Responsibilities

Undertaking and completing project tasks in collaboration with principals and project team members
Overseeing the development of drawings and specifications
Coordination with outside sub-consultants
Writing and assembling reports and documents using text and graphics, as appropriate
Participating in meetings with project team, clients, stakeholders, public and approving authorities

Requirements
Bachelors of Architecture (required)
Architectural licensure (preferred)
Knowledge of Revit and Autocad (required)
Knowledge of 3D modeling software such as SketchUp, Enscape or Lumion (preferred)
8-10 years experience (preferred)
Knowledge of architectural best practices and concepts
Ability to organize and present data in an efficient and clear manner
Microsoft Office Suite, Word and Excel, being essential for day-to-day work
Graphic skill, experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) is desirable, but not required
Strong organizational skills and personal initiative
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task and work collaboratively within a team of architects, interior designers, landscape architects, and planners
