161st Street Garage

The 161st Street Garage is a four-story garage adjacent to the Macomb’s Dam Bridge and the Major Deegan Expressway. The Macomb’s Dam Bridge approach is an elevated roadway and connects, via a new entry, to this 970 parking space garage. The lowest level has a continuous floor plate with the lower level of the Ruppert Plaza Garage beneath the Macomb’s Dam Bridge viaduct, allowing continuous cross circulation. Elevators and stairs provide pedestrian access to and from the garage at East 161st Street and nearby Yankee Stadium.

This garage is part of the overall Yankee Stadium Redevelopment Project (also by CCH), which includes construction of three new parking garages, the renovation of two additional garages and a new public park atop the Ruppert Plaza Garage.
