Seton Hall University: University Center Renovations and Additions

The project created Seton Hall’s newest campus icon: an inviting, architecturally beautiful University Center that revolutionizes the student experience and enhances the entire Setonian community.

The renovation provides leading-edge social, dining, performance and recreational spaces today and serves as a dynamic community gathering place for generations to come. With its updated facade, the reimagined Center visually connects to other landmark buildings on campus.

Two informal performance/activities areas, plus outdoor dining, were added to the building’s enhanced exterior. The revamped interior features a broadcast studio, new event space for a broad range of activities, renovated dining area and a new location for food vendor cafes, with glass panels opening onto a Piazza space on the Green. Expanded area for board dining and club activities were planned, along with a new prayer room.

The Main Lounge, Living Room, Pirates Cove, Theatre-in-the-Round, all circulation areas, club offices, offices, Faculty Dining, Retail Dining, University Club and the Faculty Lounge were transformed. The project instills a greater sense of pride in the Seton Hall community and enriches all aspects of Setonian culture.

"Designed to be inviting and architecturally stunning, the UC renovations have created a dynamic community gathering place. The Center will stand as a vibrant hub at the heart of Seton Hall, using interior and exterior spaces to bring us together in new and exciting ways."
