Eversole Hall House

Eversole Hall House

The Eversole Hall House is an agrarian complex dating to the late eighteenth century. The farmhouse and outbuildings were restored to interpret the 1830’s when the house was used as Master Hall’s shoemaker shop. Work included roofing, new copper gutters and downspouts, porch stabilization and historically appropriate interior and exterior painting.

The property serves as a museum for the Township of Readington. The mission of Readington Museums is to promote an understanding of the rich history of the Township. The property is utilized as an educational living history experience and offers a broad range of activities and educational programs such as Museum Camp, Archaeological Camp and the Township’s Third Grade “Partners in History” program.
